Bob Day will forever hold a special place in my heart. He was a kind hearted, loving, honest, caring gentleman. Bob was very giving and sincere, he was not one to put up a front, what you saw was what you got. He was a father figure to me, someone who I greatly respected and could confide my deepest thoughts to.
Although there are several memories of Bob, one in particular stands out in my mind. The memories I have of Bob and the Day Zoo. Bob loved his critters and had plenty of them. They roamed free on his little plot of heaven on Earth, there in Elizabeth, Colorado.
Bob would brighten your day with a smile and a hug. He was always there for me to lend a hand, to listen to me and give me fatherly advice, or just give me a hug when I needed one, or a shoulder to cry on.
Bob.....you will be greatly missed. Your love and sincerety with the memory of you will live on in our hearts for eternity.
